Self-made oxidized wax was adopted to develop oxidized wax emulsion in this experiment, and the effect of emulsifiers amount, emulsification temperature, stirring speed and emulsification time on emulsion performance were investigated, and finally the formulation of complex emulsifiers and the emulsification technology were determined. The results show that the first grade oxidized wax emulsion, which is milk white and has good stability and dispersity, can be prepared when the HLB value of surfactants is 12.0, reaction temperature is 85 ℃, stirring speed is 800 r/min and reaction time is 35 min

Borate esters were prepared as anti-wear lubricants additives from stearic acid, diethanolamine and boric acid and characterized by infrared spectroscopy. Their optimum preparation conditions were determined by examining molecular ratio of reactants, amount of sodium hydroxide[KG*3]and[KG*3]so[KG*3]on.[KG*3]The[KG*3]experimental[KG*3]results[KG*3]show[KG*2]that[KG*2]the[KG*2]yield[KG*2]of[KG*2]borate[KG*2]esters[KG*2]can[KG*2]reach 43.33% under the optimum conditions: mole ratio of stearic acid, diethanolamine to boric acid 1.0∶1.1∶1.0, reaction temperature 105~110 ℃, reaction time 11 h. At the meanwhile, the effect of adding amount of lubricant additives on anti-wear performance of the lubricant base oil agents was also studied and find that when the mass fraction of nitrogen-containing borate ester 0.25% was adding in the liquid paraffin, PB value can reach 697.9 N, minimum wear scar diameter is 0.49 mm, the friction coefficient reduces by 0.017 as compared with that of liquid paraffin oil.

petroleum resins was obtained by two-step synthesis from C

fraction, which is the side product from enthylene production in the boiling range of 140~196 ℃. The processes of free radical polymerization and catalytic polymerization by Lewis acid were well investigated, and the effect of polymerization method, reaction time and reaction temperature on product quality was discussed. The results show that C

petroleum resins can be obtained with light color and higher yield under the following conditions: the mass fraction of initiator 0.01%, the mass fraction of catalyst 1.50%, reaction time 4.5 h, free radical polymerization time 1.5 h, catalytic polymerization time 3.0 h and reaction temperature 55 ℃.

In the presence of the initiator benzoyl peroxide (BPO), maleic anhydride (MAH) was grafted onto a kind of H-1 type fischer-tropsch wax by melt grafting process to improve the hardness and other indicators of Fischer-Tropsch wax. The experimental results show that, when the reaction lasted for 20 min at the reaction temperature of 140 ℃, the amount of maleic anhydride (MAH)was 5.0 g and the amount of initiator (BPO)was 4.0 g, the grafting rate reached 1.53% while the product's penetration degree was 1.6(0.1 mm). From the infrared spectroscopy (IR), we can see that MAH had been successfully grafted to the fischer-tropsch wax.

The pour point depressant for diesel was prepared by firstly making modifacation of C5 petroleum resin with maleic anhydride, and then modified with octadecanol. Four factors were studied on the influence of freezing point and cold filter plugging point, which are, respectively, the amount of maleic anhydride and initiator, the time of reaction, the temperature of reaction. The result shows that, the best depression capacity of pour point depressant for diesel is acquired with the amount of maleic anhydride is 15%,and the amount of the initiator is 1.0%, and the temperature is 180 ℃ and the time is 3.0 h.

The catalytic oxidation experiments were carried out to prepare the horniness oxidized wax from paraffin wax and polyethylene. The results show that good products can be obtained under the following conditions: reaction temperature 170 ℃, reaction time 7 h, mass ratio of paraffin wax and polyethylene 7∶3, the amount of catalyst 0.01%, the amount of additive 1.0%, the air flow 0.20 m3/h. acid number of the product was 9.82 mg(KOH)/g, saponification number is 79.19 mg(KOH)/g, penetration is 9.2 (0.1 mm), melting point was 87.4 ℃, index of refraction(75 ℃ ) was 1.453 6. As compared with natural hard wax(carnauba wax),their properties were quite similar each other.
